Rick
Hamilton
Rick grew up in South Jersey
and became a Christian in his early teens. He was the first
member of his family to attend college where he majored in
Biblical studies with minors in Greek and history. After
graduation he worked as Christian Education Director in a
small church in Pennsylvania while attending seminary.
After seminary Rick became a teacher in a local Christian
school, followed by twenty-two years as an administrator at
an inner-city Christian school in North Philadelphia.
Sensing God's call to re-enter church ministry, Rick
Hamilton joined the staff of FPC in August 2003 as Director
of Discipleship Ministries where he oversees the church’s
"cradle to grave" approach to Christian discipleship.
Rick holds degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary
(M.Div.) and Philadelphia Biblical University (M.S. in
Education). He enjoys working with computers and reading
history. Rick and his wife, Celeste, live in Willingboro,
NJ and have three adult daughters, Amanda, Stacy and
Sarah.
