What's a Growth Group?

Growth Groups meet to grow together in faith as members intentionally study the Bible and discuss ways in which its teaching can be worked out in their everyday live.

Most Groups meet weekly on Sunday mornings beginning after our 9:30 am service, at 11 am, our Mens class will meet before church at 8:30 am, see details below.

These Classes will Begin Jan. 12th 2020

  • Discovering Jesus in the Old Testament - Media Room

    The entire OT tells a story that only finds its completion in Jesus Christ. Join us as we discuss some of the better known passages of the OT and shine a light on how they point to the coming Christ. This group, led by Rick Hamilton, will meet in the Media Room at 11:00 on Sundays.

  • Parents Class - Church Cafe

    will be using a course from the Serendipity Bible series that includes topics such as family time, dealing with a strong-willed child, parenting adolescents, and special kids with special needs.  This group meets in the Café at 11:00 on Sunday.

  • “Unshakable Hope: Building Our Lives on the Promises of God”- Media Room: 8:30 AM

    What is shaking your world? Your future, faith, family, or finances? This 12-week DVD series by Max Lucado will help equip you to face life’s challenges. This men’s class will meet in the Media Room at 8:30 on Sunday mornings.  For more information, contact Greg Kelley or Mike Rivera.

  • Senior Life Group - Room 108

    will continue under the leadership of Gary Kibler and Mianne Edwards. This group will examine issues that affect senior citizens (or those approaching that category) from a Biblical perspective, meeting in Room 108 at 11:00 on Sunday mornings.

  • "True Story" - Assistant Pastor's Office

    Group members are reading and discussing the book by James Choung that introduces ways to share the gospel with unbelievers. 

  • Isaiah- Library

    Isaiah is a complex and rich OT book to tackle, but Kathy Badgley feels compelled by the Holy Spirit to lead a study of this interesting book of prophecy. This class will meet in the library at 11:00 on Sundays. 

  • The Word-TBD

    The Word is a four-week course about the validity of Scripture. How do we know that the Bible is true? Why do we look to the Scriptures as the authority for all things in the church? How do we convince naysayers?  Judy Kipp will lead this class at 11:00 on Sundays in a room to be determined.

  • Young Adults-Fellowship Hall

    under the leadership of Mackenzie Tansey, will continue to meet during the Education Hour in Fellowship Hall. This is a study and activity group for people who are between 18 (post high school) and 30.
