Who We Are

We are...

A Christ-Centered…

We believe that Jesus is the center of the biblical story, is the One who fulfills the deepest longings of the human heart, and the One in whom true life can be found.  We believe that when we orient our lives toward Jesus, receive the free gift of His salvation by faith, and live in a way that brings glory to Him, we fulfill the purpose for which we were created.  We believe brokenness, sin and failure do not disqualify anyone from a relationship with Jesus.  On the contrary, we believe the church is made up of broken, sinful people, from all walks of life, who believe it is never too late to turn to Him.

Community…

We believe church is a team sport and we cannot truly become who we are called to be as God’s children without being an active part of His family, the Church.  While worship services and various ministry programs are part of what we do, we believe they exist to serve the greater purpose of living out the “one-another” commands of the Bible.  As a community in Christ, we take seriously the call to love, support, serve, encourage, challenge, teach, comfort, forgive, and honor one another.

On Mission.”

We believe God is on a mission to redeem and restore all of fallen Creation, and He calls us to join Him on missions as His ambassadors of healing, hope, and reconciliation in the world.  We believe the church exists to give itself away for the sake of others.  Therefore, we believe “church” begins when we leave the building and share the incredible news of the Gospel of Jesus in word and deed right here in our community and to the ends of the Earth.

Our Core Distinctives and Values

We believe the Bible is the unique and authoritative Word of God, which teaches all that is necessary for faith and life.

We have been in this community since 1839.

We love Mount Holly and the Rancocas Valley and we are here to stay.

We believe that a church thrives when people of all ages
celebrate one another’s unique differences and are committed to worship, laugh, learn, and serve
together.

While we remain grounded in historic orthodoxy, we embrace the hard questions, difficult discussions, and unique challenges that come in our rapidly changing world, and we are constantly seeking to find innovative and creative ways to engage our culture and community.

We are committed to living out the whole of the Great Commission –including evangelism, spiritual formation, compassion, and redemptive justice – in our communities and around the world.
