A disciple is someone who is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and is on mission with Jesus.
God's desire for every follower of Jesus is not simply that we know more about Him, but that we become more like Him.Scripture tells us that "those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29)." The ultimate goal of all God does in our lives is to transform us more and more into the image of Jesus for the sake of the world.Discipleship is not a destination at which we arrive, but a lifelong journey of growing in Christ. That's why this pathway is a circle, not a straight line. Throughout our lives we will continually deepen our trust in Jesus, be changed by His presence and His Word, discover new ways to serve with our unique gifts, and join Him in sharing His love with others.This pathway is designed to help you take your next step. It isn't a checklist to complete or a program to finish. Instead, it provides practical opportunities, resources, and tools that can help you intentionally grow as a disciple of Jesus in every season of life.No matter where you are on your journey, our prayer is that you would continue becoming a flourishing disciple who is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and on mission with Him to redeem and restore all of fallen creation.
