Women’s Ministry: Secret Sisters
We thought it would be neat to be able to connect women by giving them the opportunity to get to know and bless one another by setting up “Secret Sisters”. Any women can participate! Even if you are homebound, we will help you out!
Secret Sister Directions:
Step 1: Fill out the topics on the Secret Sister form below
Step 2: Turn in your completed sheet here on Elexio by submitting your form. Alternatively, you can fill out this form in person- Email Eleanor at: eleanorevassar@gmail.com or speak to any Women’s Ministry Leader in person!
Step 3: Registration closes June 2nd. In the weeks following, the Women’s Ministry Team will notify you with the name of the women you are going to bless. You will then receive their Secret Sister sheet with all of their favorites along with more specific instructions on how to bless your Secret Sister!
Step 4: Spend the next 3 months blessing your Secret Sister with different SMALL gifts (around $5, ONE GIFT A MONTH) and by taking the time to pray for your Secret Sister, since that is the best gift we can give someone!
Remember: Don’t feel pressure for your gifts to be expensive – the gifts can be handmade and include the likes of letters, pictures or other thoughtful handmade things.
If you cannot drop off your Secret Sisters gift to them, don’t worry! There will be a table set up at church to drop off your gifts. We will have specific instructions on where the table is, and how to let us know something is there for your “secret sister” so we can contact her.
Step 5: In the fall, we will host a Women’s Ministry get together where your Secret Sister will be revealed.
